About the Band

The Paul Stone Project is all about connection — the kind that happens when a good groove, a familiar melody, and a room full of people all lock in together. We play the blues and classic rock because that’s the music that raised us, shaped us, and still hits us right in the chest every time we plug in.

Our originals come from the same place — inspired by the Beatles, B.B. King, Clapton, and the Grateful Dead — artists who taught us that music can be both simple and deep, joyful and gritty, all at once.

The band officially started in 2016, when Paul went searching for a deeper blues sound. Since then we’ve had some great moments — the 2017 Low Country Blues Club Challenge at the Windjammer, recording our first EP “Next In Line” at Charleston Sound, and playing the Teal Diva 5K in 2018. These days we’re writing new songs, getting ready to head back into the studio, and playing shows around South Carolina with whatever lineup the night calls for.

Most of all, we’re grateful. Every play, every message, every person who comes out to a gig — it means more than you know.
